Nickname:Pappy About:Pappy" a.k.a "Compact Dave", started riding at 44 and racing at the tender age of 46. He originally raced for FSVS and then Joined MLC in 2005. Pappy loves the sprint and crits and leading out teammates in 45+ and 50+ events. He is the promoter for the Habitat for Humanity race and serves as the PCA representative for MLC. Highlights:After coming back from a broken hip with 3 screws in 2006 and racing/training his way back in shape in 2007, Pappy returned to form for 2008, posting a win in the 50+ at the Hammer Creek Road Race, and a 3rd place finish at the Race Ave Crit along with 13 other top 10 finishes.
